Sligo people will get the opportunity this evening to put forward their ideas for the area's involvement in a five-year programme of cultural, creative and community activities.
It's called the Creative Ireland Programme and is to be put at the centre of public policy in the country.
It's a follow-on from the 2016 Centenary commemorations.
Sligo County Council and a team from Creative Ireland will host an open meeting this evening at 6:30pm in the Southern Hotel in Sligo.
John Concannon, of Creative Ireland, has been telling Ocean FM News what the meeting will be about and who should come along.
