The Connacht Finals of Scór Sinsir will take place in St Brigid’s Hall Tubbercurry this coming Saturday the 25th of March at 6pm.
Sligo will be represented by an “All Saints” team as St Molaise Gaels and St Mary’s provide our competitors for the event. St Mary’s will compete in the Ballad and Instrumental Music Groups while Grainne Kilfeather and Gene Sheerin of St Molaise Gaels will represent the county in the Solo Singing and Recitation respectively.
Other competitions on the night include figure, set and sean nos dancing as well as a dramatic stage presentation.
The winners will go on to compete in the All Ireland finals in the Waterfront Belfast on May 6th with the Sligo Quiz Champions, St Molaise Gaels also in action on the same day.
All are welcome to attend the event on Saturday and several hours of good entertainment is guaranteed.
