A Sligo/Leitrim TD has hit out at plans to change the way two organisations that help people with financial and other advice are run.
Fianna Fail Deputy Eamon Scanlon has called on the Social Protection Minister Leo Varadkar to postpone planned changes to the Money Advice and Budgeting Service, otherwise knows as MABS, and the Citizens Information Service.
In this region, the organisations have offices in Donegal Town, Sligo and Ballinamore in Leitrim.
Under the changes proposed, local offices would come under a regional structure.
