Sligo councillors agreed to adjourn their monthly meeting today as a mark of respect to the late Tommy Lavin.
The former Fine Gael Councillor from Ballymote passed away last month.
He served on the Council for over 30 years.
Councillors adjourned the meeting paying tribute to his work on the Council.
