A Donegal TD says not only are water charges on the verge of abolition, the campaing against them will continue to seek refunds for those who have paid.
Members of the Oireachtas committee on water charges are meeting again today after a row broke out yesterday.
The wording of the group’s final report caused major rifts, and Fine Gael lost a series of votes about how to deal with excessive water usage.
Although it’s now generally believed water charges are about to go, it’s still a case of no final decision having been made.
