The Tidy Towns in Bundoran says many people do not KNOW that they SHOULD clean up after their dog.
The committee has launched a campaign to increase awareness on dog-fouling and to encourage people to pick up after their animal.
Posters will be displayed in businesses, free “poop bags” will be given from the tourist office, Supervalu and from dispensers located along popular walking routes.
Dog-fouling is not just an issue in Bundoran but in many towns in the region.
