Experienced Belgian coach Tom Saintfeit has confirmed to Ocean FM that he has thrown his hat in the ring as the race heats up to succeed Dave Robertson as manager of Sligo Rovers.
The 44-year-old retired from the game early due to a succession of injuries and has been involved in coaching and management since he was 24.
He has previously managed the Togo, Ethiopia and Trinidad & Tobago.

Meanwhile, former Irish international Keith Andrews has also been linked with the Showgrounds hotseat today. According to the Irish Daily Mirror this morning, former Middlesbrough player Craig Hignett and ex-Crawley Town boss Mark Yates are also in the running.
