Focus Ireland, the organisation that works to prevent homelessness as well as helping those who haven’t a home, is celebrating 10 years in Sligo.
Focus Ireland opened its doors at 69 John Street in 2007 and last year the number seeking its services jumped by 50%
The organistion has 14 apartments in Sligo Town for single people as well as accommodation for two families.
It also manages 23 apartments in the town on behalf of the local authority.
