Local councillor, Tom Macsharry, is calling on Minister for Social Protectin, Leo Varadkar, not to regionalise local Citizens Information services.
Post Offices and Banks along with other services have been hit hard in recent years with a number of closures and potential future closes still on the horizon.
Councillor MacSharry is calling on government TD’s to bring up the issue with Minister Varadkar to get hiom to stop plans for regionalisation of these services.
Speaking to Ocean FM, Councillor MacSharry said these are vital services for the most vulnerable in our communities
