A Leitrim councillor has called for greater development and promotion of the county’s only coastal village along the Wild Atlantic Way.
Fianna Fail Councillor Justin Warnock wants Leitrim County Council to become involved in the effort.
He made the proposal at a meeting of the Manorhamilton Municipal District of the council.
He pointed out that Leitrim has the shortest coastline of any county in ireland with only 2.5km ot it at Tullaghan.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Councillor Warnock says there needs to be access to the coastline and improvement to an old historic lodge in the area.
