Guest speakers from Google, Boston Scientific, Abbott and other leading groups will take to the stage at the biggest engineering Expo ever held in the North West which gets underway tomorrow in IT Sligo.
Starting at 10am, it is aimed at promoting engineering through connecting with students, industry and the community.
More than 50 students from IT Sligo’s School of Engineering will display their projects alongside company stands in the hope of scooping the coveted title of ‘Abbott Student Engineer of the Year.’
More than 65 companies will have stands
And more than 300 jobs will on offer from more than 45 companies.
Una Parsons, head of engineering and design at IT Sligo, says it’s also a major opportunity to showcase the Institute and what the North West has to offer.
