Donegal councillor says there's now too much pressure on young people in sport

The new Cathaoirleach of the Donegal Municipal District says that there is too much pressure on youngsters today in sport.

Independent Cllr Tom Conaghan from Donegal Town was elected to the top position within the district yesterday.

He says he has a number of priorities in the new role including developing facilities for young people in the county.

However, Cllr Conaghan who is a former manager with the Donegal Senior Football team says he feels that sport in general is going in the wrong direction.
