Donegal County Council have installed a total of 12 new bike stands at beaches across the county.
Three of the new stands are situated at Bundoran, Fintra and Rossnowlagh beaches.
The bespoke stands, which have been especially designed to suit the surrounding coastal settings, are hoped to encourage locals and tourists alike to discover the Donegal coastline by bicycle.
It is also hoped that the new stands will help promote cycling not only as a recreational and sporting activity but also as an effective and practical mode of transport.
