Sligo Rovers will be without the suspended Craig Roddan, John Russell and Michael Leahy for their next league game.
All three are suspended for the trip to Ballybofey to face Finn Harps on Saturday, September 16.
Roddan was sent off in Rovers’ win in Cork last weekend, while Russell and Leahy must serve bans for an accumulation of yellow cards.
Rovers are not in action this weekend, but Harps travel to Limerick for an FAI Cup tie tomorrow.
Despite the suspensions, Rovers boss Gerard Lyttle says that last week’s surprise defeat of the league-leaders shows that his squad now has real strength-in-depth.
Lyttle added a number of attackers to his squad before the close of the July transfer window – among them Benny Igiehon, Greg Moorhouse and Vinny Faherty.
And he was able to alter his side to deal with two games in the space of three days last week – the scoreless draw with Bray followed by the win at Turner’s Cross.
Lyttle told Sligorovers.com the options are giving him a welcome headache…
