Donegal’s Patrick McBrearty is among the 45 nominees for an All-Star award this evening.
The football team of the year will be unveiled at Dublin’s Convention Centre this evening.
All-Ireland champions Dublin have 13 nominees, while Mayo have 12, and former IT Sligo student Andy Moran is favourite to be named footballer of the year.
McBrearty, meanwhile, is concentrating on Kilcar’s Ulster semi-final against Slaughtneil on Saturday week in Omagh.
McBrearty is the Kilcar captain, and led the team to their first club championship win in 24 years last month.
