Former Sligo Rovers manager Paul Cook has been named the English League One manager of the month.
His Wigan side went unbeaten in six games during October, winning four and drawing two matches in both the league and the Football League Trophy.
They are second in the league standings, just a point behind leaders Shrewsbury, and six ahead of third-placed Bradford.
Their next outing is at home to Bradford on Saturday week.
