A North West MEP says that Ireland is a step closer to losing it’s neutrality after Ireland signed up to PESCO.
PESCO would see a more joined up European structure in defence and military, with 25 EU members, including Ireland involved.
This week the European Parliament voted for closer EU defence ties and a stronger EU foreign and defence policy. Critics of PESCO say it will lead to a European army.
