Minister for Rural Affairs Michael Ring says the Gin Distillery in Drumshanbo is an example of local enterprise hubs working to create jobs.
Minister Ring is in Leitrim and Sligo today where he visited Manorhamilton Castle earlier and he will officially turn the sod on the Leader Project in Ballinaleek Community Park in south Sligo later.
Minister Ring says the Distillery in Drumshanbo set up by Pat and Denise Rigney is now well-known worldwide and we need to build on these success stories.
The 18 jobs at the centre are set to double next year with the expansion of the visitor centre:
