More than 18 million euro in local property tax was collected in Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim last year.
And while the compliance rate was over 90% in all three counties, those in Sligo were the best at paying, with more than 97% of property owners stumping up.
Local Property Tax is a self-assessed tax charged on the market value of residential properties.
According to preliminary figures from Revenue, eleven million euro was collected on about 73,000 properties in County Donegal last year, a compliance rate of almost 94%.
Over five million euro was collected in County Sligo on more than 30,500 properties.
And in Leitrim, more than two million euro was paid for just over 16,000 properties.
Revenue has also given figures for deferrals and exemptions last year; there were 5,000 in Donegal, just under 2,000 in Sligo and just over 1,000 in Leitrim.
In all three counties, most residential properties were in the under €100,000 valuation band.
