Roads are said to be still very dangerous in some areas of the region this morning.
Motorists say they are particularly slippery in areas around the Ballygawley and Ballintogher areas in Sligo and around Manorhamilton in County Leitrim.
A car has overturned on the Ballintogher to Ballygawley road.
Gardai are advising motorists to drive with caution because of the possibility of black ice on some roads.
