A group of friars are leading a 6-day mission in Sligo.
It began yesterday and will run until Thursday next, in St Anne’s Church in Sligo town.
The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal began in New York in 1987.
Those coming to Sligo are based in Moyross in Limerick and include a French man and a number of Americans.
