Martin McDonagh continued his success at the BAFTAS last night.
The director who was born in London but to Irish parents with his mother hailing from Easkey in West Sligo won for original screenplay for his movie ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’.
The film picked up five prizes in total including best film and best British film.
Minister for Culture and Heritage Josepha Madigan says ‘It’s great to see Irish talent represented at this year’s BAFTA awards’.
