The PRO of the N4 Action Group has welcomed the inclusion of the route between Collooney and Castlebaldwin in the government’s 10-year national development plan announced in Sligo on Friday last.
But Bernard Mulhern pointed out this had already been announced by Transport Minister Shane Ross in the budget last November.
He says as far as he is concerned, it’s now expected that work on the route is going ahead, with completion in 2020.
