A Independent TD has said that the governments ‘Project 2040’ ignores the south and southwest of Co Donegal.
The national planning framework and national development plan was launched in Sligo last week.
But Deputy Thomas Pringle says the document does nothing rural Ireland and ignores areas of South Donegal.
And he says it will lead to the population of rural villages decreasing in the long run:
