Sinn Fein has called on an Independent Donegal County County Cllr to consider his position over allegations he made last week.
Cllr Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig claimed that he and another man where threatened by members of Sinn Fein over the raising of a flag over a republican grave.
He also claimed that these men threatened them with the IRA.
But this has now been strongly denied by Sinn Fein and the man, who it’s claimed was threatened, has said it never happened.
