A new historical walking tour of Sligo town and an information brochure will be launched this lunchtime (Wednesday).
Those who take the tour journey will see about 20 plaques, seven of which are about noteworthy people and the rest located on buildings that are historically significant.
Today’s launch will be performed by the Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, Cllr Seamus Kilgannnon, at an event at 1pm in The Glasshouse Hotel in Sligo.
