Nearly 27-thousand students have registered to vote for the first time in the run up to the abortion referendum.
The Union of Students in Ireland has been running registration drives on campuses across the country.
It says 8-thousand of these new voters have signed up in the past 3 weeks and it’s hoping more will follow suit ahead of next Tuesday’s deadline.
