The manager of Donegal Local Link has described the extension of its transport services in the county as ‘great news.’
The new evening, weekend services will start on a six-month pilot basis.
They are among 50 new evening and nighttime services announced by Transport Shane Ross.
Similar services have been running in Sligo since 2003, mainly in the Calry and west Sligo areas.
The new services in Donegal will be operated by Local Link, and manager Fiona O’Shea has today encouraged people to use the service, saying it will be a case of ‘use it or lose it:
