Senior Football

Our Burns Cars-sponsored senior team have a very important Div 2 League game next Sat evening at 7.00 when they take on neighbours and league-leaders Calry – St Josephs in Hazelwood.

 St Johns Lotto Draw

In the Lotto draw which took place on April 29th the numbers drawn were 23 – 24 – 30 – 32. There was no winner of the Jackpot prize and the winners of the E25 consolation prizes were Tony Mc Gee, Tonaphubble; Mary Streete,The Stirrups,Tonaphubble; Mathona Rooney, Aughamore and Terry Hayes, Cornageeha. The Lotto Jackpot now stands at E12,000. The next Lotto draw takes place on Sat May 12th at 9pm. Lotto tickets can be purchased from Cannings, Cornageeha; Clifford Electrical, Carraroe; The Blue Lagoon, Riverside; Mc Morrow’s Shop, Cairns Rd.; Crozon Inn; Molly Fultons, Carraroe.

Under 16 Football

Our U16 team were narrowly defeated by Eastern Harps in Keash in their last game and they will be out next on Mon May 14th when they take on Geevagh – St Michaels in Stenson Park with a 7.00 starting time.

Under 14 Football

Our U14 team have their next fixture on Thurs May 10th when they welcome Enniscrone – Kilglass to Stenson Park, Cuilbeg with a 7.00 throw-in

Under 12 Boys Football

Our Under 12 Div 1 and Div 3 Boys took on Tubbercurry – Cloonacool in Stenson Park last week and while our U12 lads lost out, our U11 team won their game comprehensively. On Thurs 15th both teams travel to Fr Breheny Park, Keash to take on Eastern Harps with a 7.00 throw-in for both games

Minor Football

Our minor team were comprehensively beaten by Castleconnor in St Brendan’s Park, Castleconnor in their final League game.

Underage Training Schedule

Boys under 11/12/14/16/18 –Every Monday 6.30 to 8pm at Cuilbeg

Girls under 8/10/12/14 – Every Saturday  from 10 to 11.30am in Cleveragh

Boys under 7/8/9/10 – Every Saturday from 10 to 11.30am in Cleveragh

Boys and Girls Under 6 (born2012,13) From May5th on Saturdays from 10 to 11.30 am in Cleveragh. ( 8 Week Program)

Congratulations

Congratulations to Charlie Harrison and his Sligo colleagues on their fine win over London in Ruislip on Sunday in the Connacht championship quarter final. As usual Charlie led by example and now they look forward to meeting the winners of next Sunday’s clash between Mayo and Galway

Sympathy

All at St Johns extend sympathy to Charlie Jordan and family on the death of his niece in Galway last week
