A Northwest Independent TD has hit out at Bus Eireann’s plans to recruit almost 200 new staff for roles across the country – none of which will cater for Donegal, Sligo or Leitrim.
190 new driver positions are being created, along with additional mechanical jobs, as the service continues to expand.
The new rolls will be in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Mayo, Waterford, Wicklow, Navan, Drogheda, Limerick and Clare.
