The Head of the Leitrim Bar Association says local solicitors are already getting queries in relation to the Cervical Smear Scandal.
Kieran Ryan of Kelly Ryan Solicitors in Manorhamilton and Sligo says unfortunately when people don’t feel they are getting the answers they need they are forced down the legal route.
Mr. Ryan chaired a major legal conference in Carrick-on-Shannon recently where an expert spoke about the advantages of looking at mediation before the lengthy process of the courts.
