Anti-abortion campaigners in Co Donegal have erected thousands of white crosses along some of the counties roads.
17,000 crosses were put up along the 30km stretch of road between Bridgend and Letterkenny in the early hours of this morning.
Donegal County Council have said they will remove any of the white crosses that cause a potential hazard to motorists.
A spokesperson for the group who erected the crosses, Christopher, said they did it to get their viewpoint across…..
