Bishop of Elphin, Kevin Doran has described Bishop Christopher Jones as ‘the grandfather of the diocese’
Known as Bishop Christy, he was ordained to the Priesthood in 1962 and became Bishop of Elphin serving the community and further afield for 20 years retiring in 2014.
He passed away last night at the age of 82
