The largest cruise ship to ever dock at Killybegs harbour has arrived.
The Cunard Queen Victoria arrived at around 9am this morning and then began docking at around 10.30am bringing just over 2,000 passengers and almost a thousand crew to the scenic area.
It was a great sight to behold for many locals this morning as the 294 metre vessel made its way into Donegal Bay.
It’s sister ship, which is the same length and just 6 metres short of Killybegs harbour, is due to arrive later this summer.
Independent Donegal councillor Niamh Kennedy says its a great boost to the North West Region.
