A man who was adopted as a child in Sligo says the most fundamental right of anyone is their right to know their true identity.
Graham Monaghan was speaking to Ocean FM News after the latest scandal revealing how, between 1946 and 1969, adopted parents were sometimes registered as the biological parents on birth certificates.
He says someone needs to be held to account.
