Gardai still have no positive identification of remains found on Coney Island

Gardai are still awaiting DNA results and have made no positive identification after human remains were found on Coney Island.

The body was removed after being found by a passer-by last weekend.

Following the discovery, DNA samples were sent away for testing and a post mortem was carried out on the body on Monday.

Yesterday the Garda Press Office said they expected the results to be confirmed before the end of this week.
