The Authorities are reminding people that burning rubbish and tyres is illegal.
Sligo County Council has made the warning ahead of “Bonfire Night” this weekend.
It falls on the 23rd of June each year but has become a busy night for the Fire Services as people amass dangerous and illegal items to burn including tyres and household rubbish.
