Two killed and three injured in Bundoran crash, post postmortems to be carried out today



Post mortem’s are due to be carried out on a man and a woman who were killed in a crash in Co Donegal yesterday.

The crash happened in the early hours of Sunday morning in Bundoran.

6 people were involved in the tragic single-car collision in Bundoran.

A man and a woman in their early twenties died in the crash. They’ve been named as Shiva Devine, who is originally from Donegal Town, but who had been living in Belleek for a number of years, and Conall McAleer, who is from the Boa Island area, on the Fermanagh/Donegal border.

Meanwhile two men in their 20s were seriously injured and are continuing to receive treatment at Sligo University Hospital.

A woman in her 20s remains critically ill and has been transferred to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital.

A man in his 20s arrested by Gardaí investigating the crash has been released without charge, with a file being prepared for the DPP.

Gardaí are liaising with the PSNI as part of their enquiries and are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
