Minister accepts more beds needed at Sligo hospital

The Minister for Health says he knows there is a need for more beds to be made available in Sligo University Hospital.

But he says the question he wants answered is how quickly those beds can be provided and what is the best way to pay for them.

After opening a new primary health care centre in Ballymote yesterday afternoon, he visited Sligo hospital.
