Donegal TD Pat the Cope Gallagher has accused the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Michael Creed of being out of his depth when it comes to marine matters.
The Fianna Fail TD has criticized Minister Creed for failing to introduce proper legislation to cover EU obligation for dealing with penalty points for serious fishing infringements.
Pat the Cope Gallagher has completely rejected claims suggesting that Ireland is now receiving reduced funding from Europe due to the Government having failed to have a previous legislation regarding penalty points concerning Marine issues passed, a motion which Fianna Fail failed to support.
