Tourism operators are to meet Minister Shane Ross just this afternoon to ask him to put in place a number of measures that will help rural businesses.
They're calling for a three year emergency Brexit fund and a more detailed look at the development of greenways starting with the extension of the November deadline for funding.
JJ O'Hara of the Leitrim Tourism Network runs a B and B in the county and he says that local operators are already seeing a 16% fall in numbers coming to Leitrim.
He says they are seeing a fall in visitors from the UK in particular with one regular visitor telling him recently that she was not sure she was welcome in Ireland following the Brexit vote:
