An extra daily Sligo-Dublin rail service begins this morning.
From today, the Sligo to Dublin line, will see weekday services increase from seven trains each way daily to eight trains each way, with an extra morning train from Dublin, Connolly to Sligo, and an evening train from Sligo to Connolly.
Iarnród Éireann is advising customers it has also implemented timetable alterations to its weekend timetable, following public consultation and the approval of the National Transport Authority.

Spokesperson for Irish Rail, Barry Kenny, says the changes have been made following traditional demand from customers.
