Groups and individuals from throughout County Sligo will be honoured at the annual county council Cathaoirleach’s awards this Thursday evening.
The award categories cover art and culture, young enterprise, environment and heritage, community, sports and schools.
A Spirit of Sligo Award will also be presented during the event that will start at 7pm in County Hall in Riverside.
