Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Tubbercurry to Cloonacool road in Co Sligo.
A man in his 60s was fatally injured following the single vehicle road traffic collision with occurred at around 9:45am Tuesday morning.
The man’s car struck a wall at a bridge at Doomore, Cloonacool.
His body was removed to the mortuary at Sligo University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place.
The road was closed while a technical and forensic examination of the scene took place.
The road has reopened since just after 5pm today, Tuesday.
