Coola Post Primary School boys under 15 soccer team are celebrating another FAI Schoolboys Connacht Cup title.
The Sligo school beat St Claire’s Comprehensive School Manorhamilton in Wednesday’s final – in what was a repeat of last year’s decider.
Coola led 2-0 at half-time but St Claire’s responded with two early second-half goals to level the contest.
Conor McMorrow proved to be Coola’s matchwinner. His wonder goal in the closing quarter sealed a 3-2 win.
Speaking to Ocean FM Sport after the game, team manager Keith Raymond said the win had given the entire school a lift.
Coola now play the Ulster champions in the All-Ireland under 15 semi-final next Tuesday, March 26th at 1pm.
