Gardai in Sligo have seized controlled drugs with an estimated value of more than €100,000.
Members of the Sligo/Leitrim Divisional Drug Unit found the drugs after searching a house in the Calry area yesterday (Tues) evening.
They discovered four kilograms of cannabis herb, more than 4,000 Xanax tablets and cocaine, all with an estimated street value of €110,000, subject to analysis.
A 30-year old man was arrested at the scene.
He was taken to Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station, where he was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Investigations are continuing.
