In advance of the coming elections, visually impaired voters are being reminded of special facilities to help them.
A freephone telephone number (1800 702 651) has been set up for these voters and by dialling it, they can hear details of the candidates in each individual electoral area.
There’s also help for visually impaired people when they go to vote.
