There are 43 people waiting on a hospital bed in the north-west today.
That’s according to the Irish nurses and Midwives Organisation Trolley Watch figures.
It shows that 20 people are waiting on a bed at Sligo University Hospital while the number stands at 23 in Letterkenny University Hospital.
There are 481 people waiting around the country with the worst hit hospital today being Cork University Hospital with 60 people waiting.
