Bernadette Dougan, (nee Rooney) of 9 Nazareth Village, Sligo and formerly of 1 St. Joseph’s Tce, Sligo. In The North West Hospice, Sligo. Reposing at the Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm to 7 pm, with funeral arriving to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo at 7.30pm. Requiem mass on Thursday morning at 11.30am followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The North West Hospice, Sligo, care of The Foley & McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo.
Marion Gallagher, Dublin, Mullingar and late of Erne Street, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. At Mullingar Regional Hospital. Reposing at John McGee and Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Road, Ballyshannon, this evening from 6pm to 9pm, with remains going to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon on Wednesday for 11am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery.
Catherine Niland, Marino, Dublin, formerly Glasnevin and The Mall, Sligo. Removal to Our Lady of Dolours Church, Botanic Avenue, Glasnevin on Thursday morning, arriving at 10.50am for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. No flowers please, donations if desired to Brother Kevin, the Capuchin Friary, Church Street, Dublin, or to the Irish Cancer Society.
Eugene (Gene) Gallagher, Caltragh Road, Sligo. Peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo. Reposing at his sister Gabrielle and brother in law Seamus Devaney’s House at Bree Ogue, Knockahur, from 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday to Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Ransboro, to arrive for mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the North West Hospice, c/o Seamus Feehily and Sons Funeral Directors, Pearse Road, Sligo. House private to family on Thursday morning please.
