One point seven million euro in grant-funding has been announced for youth projects across the country.
The money will go towards 116 staff-led services and 20 youth organisations.
€78,000 will go to projects in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
The Department of Children and Youth Affairs says the grants will help support the running of these clubs including buying equipment and upgrading buildings.
Fine Gael Senator Frank Feighan says the allocations include €31,784 for youth projects in Sligo and Leitrim.
The Leitrim Traveller Youth Project will get €2,000; Leitrim Youth Project – €7,680; Sligo YIC – €3,000; Mohill Community Youth Project – €5,145; and Sligo Leitrim Home Youth Liaison – €13,959.
Meanwhile, Donegal Minister Joe McHugh has welcomed funding worth more than €46,000 for youth projects in the county.
